True or False... |
is it a trick question? |
It's false... He wanted the national bird to be a turkey! Next: Apes and Monkeys belong to the primates group of mammals.. (True or False?) |
True, assuming by Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II told Mozart that one of his operas had "Too many notes." By the way, it was the wild turkey that Franklin thought should be the national bird. In the wild, the turkey is a more interesting bird. Franklin was definitely not referring to the grotesque overstuffed poultry that usually passes for a turkey on Thanksgiving now, nor to the brand of bourbon :-). |

TrueNietzsche was in love with her, but it was a failure. Salome married, and years later met a young poet at the of 21, named Rilke. These two people had a long time affair, until Rilke died. She taught Rilke the Russian language, so he can read Tolstoy. The Book of hours and other writings was part of Rilke's life experience with Russia and its mysticism. F. Dostoevsky and L. TrueOn Dostoevsky and Tolstoy question : False. You got it britgrl. However there is a story told by Dostoevsky's wife Anna; that she said that both of them were invited to a reunion (or party for our convenience) , and Dostoevsky heard rumors that Tolstoy was present at the moment on the same gathering. So this was a great opportunity for Dostoevsky to meet Tolstoy; but he made the decision in not to meeting Tolstoy; and both Fyodor and Anna left the reunion. What a pity! Next question: Franz Schubert was buried ( in Vienna) next to Beethoven (by Schuberts's request) ? |
